The sudden cardiac arrest screening feature I developed was introduced on the newly released HONOR Watch 5 Ultra

The HONOR Watch 5 Ultra was released with a sudden cardiac arrest screening research feature based on heart-rate deceleration capacity, i.e. DC. This is also the first self-developed feature in the HONOR Health Study platform :sparkles:. As the lead developer, I worked on the algorithm pipeline that uses deceleration-capacity-related information to support heart-health risk screening research and help users better understand long-horizon cardiac rhythm trends.

This feature was implemented with large-scale heart-health-related physiological signal records by combining deceleration-capacity theory and deep learning algorithms, including contrastive learning between photoplethysmography and electrocardiogram signals, quality-aware representation learning, and traditional deceleration-capacity techniques for wearable long-horizon monitoring.
